Shipping policy

Every HaleHound device is built by hand, so processing times can vary depending on the order and the current build queue. Your order ships as soon as it is built and tested, and you will receive tracking once it is on the way. Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout — I am not able to recover a package sent to a wrong or outdated address.

Signature Confirmation on Orders Over $130

I am a very small, independent business. Because of a rise in fraudulent “item not received” chargebacks — where a buyer receives their order and then disputes the charge to keep it for free — I can no longer absorb those losses, and honestly I do not have a choice but to protect against it.

As a result, all orders with a subtotal over $130 USD ship via a service that requires a signature on delivery, with tracking and delivery confirmation. This applies to all DIY kits and prebuilt units. By placing an order over $130, you agree to provide a shipping address where someone can sign for the package. Packages that are refused, or returned to me unclaimed, may be subject to return-shipping costs before a refund or reshipment is issued.
